Introduction

As much as we would like to believe that it happens in the elderly, we are in fact seeing younger women diagnosed with this disease. Women in their 30s and 40s and even in their 20s are no longer spared. If a Breast Cancer is detected early, there is hope for a potential cure. Surgical and medical treatments of the disease have advanced tremendously over the years. It is also important to know that about 1% of breast cancers occur in men.

What is Thyroid?
The thyroid gland is a small gland shaped like a butterfly, located in front of your throat in the neck. It secretes hormones that are essential for metabolism and various other functions. The gland may become hyperactive or hypoactive. It may enlarge or develop nodules within it and occasionally become cancerous.
